Today I signed the documents to start a new foundation: NiSaMu. NiSaMu is short for "New Saxophone Music" in Dutch. As artistic director of the foundation I will be focusing on developing the classical saxophone's repertoire and organizing events to bring this music to the public. Preparations for the first project are already in progress and I can't wait to share some news about it soon!
Vandaag heb ik de oprichtingsakte voor een nieuwe stichting ondertekend: NiSaMu. NiSaMu is een afkorting van Nieuwe Saxofoon Muziek. Als artistiek directeur van de stichting ga ik me richten op het verruimen van het repertoire voor de klassieke saxofoon en het organiseren van concerten om deze naar het publiek te brengen. Voorbereidingen voor het eerste project van de stichting zijn al een tijd in volle gang en ik kan niet wachten om binnenkort het eerste nieuws hierover met jullie te delen!
Christmas Concerts

Michelle Lynne and I started an initiative where we record a Christmas carol and message of your choice, which you can then send to a loved one or perhaps your whole family. We also offer digital Christmas Concerts.
Michelle Lynne en ik willen de kerst graag bij mensen thuis brengen dit jaar. Daarom kun je bij ons een kerstlied met gepersonaliseerde boodschap boeken, die je dan kunt sturen naar een naaste, of misschien wel je hele familie. Ook is er de mogelijkheid om digitale kerstconcerten te boeken.

With the world of live concerts coming to a standstill, I wanted to start something that would make sure the music doesn't stop playing. This is why I started eTUdESDAY. Every Tuesday I upload a recording of an etude on my Instagram (follow @star_sax), to keep the music going.
Omdat live concerten in deze tijd niet altijd mogelijk zijn, wilde ik iets doen om de muziek niet te laten stoppen. Daarom ben ik eTUdESDAY gestart. Iedere dinsdag upload ik een opname van een etude op mijn Instagram (volg @star_sax), zodat er toch muziek blijft klinken.
